Columbus Park hearkens back to the old fashioned 1950's style venue. Built in the 1920's, The Cleavers would have stayed here in Columbus Park 1962 and loved it... Columbus Park is almost in a beautiful time warp, with the simple 1930s' shingled office and the quaint derelict boathouse. You just might expect Andy Hardy to step out and say "howdy!" with the exception of the newly added facilities which make it a fully modern park. If you want good old fashioned pre computer and wholesome fun for your family, Columbus Park is the place to go. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly, and family friendly x10. Pets are also welcome on leashes and in designated areas. If you want to see some of the last large-girth Douglas Firs within 20 miles of Downtown Olympia, come to Columbus Park. The trees are stunning. 1500 Black Lake Boulevard SW. While the name may make you think that Columbus Park is named after the explorer, it is named after Saint Columbia, the same as the Columbia River
Columbus Park is a beautiful campground/rv park on Black Lake the people are friendly and do their best to make your stay fun and comfortable.
