The Olive Branch Street and Sanitation Division is responsible for the repair and maintenance of streets, sidewalks and drainage structures. The division also provides recycling services for newspapers, cardboard, aluminum cans, glass bottles and plastic containers. In addition, it provides installation and maintenance services for traffic signs and pavement markings. The street and sanitation division also offers curbside collection services for trash and yard waste, including leaves, limbs and appliances. The division additionally conducts various mosquito control programs. Located in Olive Branch, Miss., it employs a staff of more than 18 people. It is a part of the Olive Branch's Department of Public Works, which also operates natural gas and water and sewer divisions.
