I got there on a Saturday when they opened. All was fresh and hot.

This is the thrid time in three months we were disappointed here; it used to be pretty good but now is rather sad. The food on the buffet was old: brown, mushy broccoli, limp veggies and dried out meat... at 7 PM on Saturday night! No seafood to speak of, no crab legs. There are much better Chinese buffets within 6 miles that offer full seafood. For $11.50, I could eat better else where. Thhis is my last visit; I remember when it was good-- but even the Sunday Brunch was sad.

Bland and stale. There are very few choices in Olive Branch for Chinese food and we have reluctantly revisited this restaurant every few months in the hope that the food has improved. After each visit we vow, 'never again'. Our young children will eat chicken cheerfully; fried, grilled, roasted, good or bad, but even they cannot tolerate the sweet and sour chicken from Hunan. The outer coating is oily and pastey. The chicken is utterly devoid of flavor and dry. Our pork entrees differed very little from the beef entrees in that everything shared the same taste, or absence of taste rather. I am not a salt lover, but found myself tearing open packet after packet of soy sauce to appreciate anything in my mouth besides the texture of soupy vegetables and jerky-like meat. Our most recent visit predictably concluded with us vowing yet again to never return. And this time we mean it.
