Brook Ledge, one of the largest horse transportation companies in North America, is the official horse transporter of the Show Horse Winter Equestrian Festival in Palm Beach County. Operating out of its home office in Oley, Pa., Brook Ledge maintains terminals on the company s small farms in Lexington, Ky., and Ocala, Fla., and it has vans based in New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Long Island, N.Y., and south Florida. The company operates an over the road fleet that consists of approximately 30 state-of-the-art, air-ride vans as well as 30 small vans. In addition, Brook Ledge custom builds 48-, 50- and 52-foot horse trailers that feature low ramps for ground loading, single-, double- and box-stall configurations and closed-circuit video from van to tractor. Brook Ledge s freight division, Xpress-Way, hauls general commodity truckload freight within a 250-mile radius of Reading, Pa.
