We consulted Carl Pitts & Sons when we put in our house to verify the well was able to support a two house shared system. Once it was verified by them we moved forward and had our house put in. Within 3 years we had to replace the pump and pipes which was no problem as they were 10 years old. 2 years later the brand new pump gave out and our family was without water in the dead of winter. One year later the replacement pump that was put in has now broke down again. This time when originally calling them for service, we told them that it was the same problem as last time. They did not believe us and told us that the blackish water coming out was something natural. Within minutes of him leaving our house, the pump broke down. Leaving us now without water from a Thursday until Tuesday since it Monday is a holiday. I have two small kids and having a working water system should not be this much of an unknown.
