The Lyme Art Association is a vibrant art center with a diverse series of juried exhibitions throughout the year featuring representational art, with all works for sale by member artists. We have a busy schedule of affordable art classes and workshops. The architect of the gallery, built in 1921, was Charles A. Platt, designer of the Freer Gallery. In 1986 the building was named to the National Register of Historic Places and is situated in the hear of the Historic District of Old Lyme, Connecticut.
