Dr. Andrew Azer graduated with highest honors from The College of New Jersey with a Bachelor's degree in Biology. He went on to receive his doctorate of medicine from the University Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, and completed his residency in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at Albany Medical Center. Dr. Azer is board-certified in Otolaryngology—Head and Neck Surgery. He is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology– Head and Neck Surgery, the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. Dr. Azer has authored numerous research papers.Lance Jamison couldn't breathe out of the left side of his nose for years. While visiting Dr. Azer at ENT and Allergy Associates in New Jersey for a sinus infection, Dr. Azer detected something more serious and quickly referred him to Dr. Govindaraj of Mount Sinai on Staten Island. Mr. Jamison had an inverted papilloma (tumor), which had grown to the base of his skull and close to his eye. Dr. Govindaraj removed the tumor entirely, and Mr. Jamison learned it was not cancerous or pre-cancerous. The office staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. The doctor was professional and had excellent beside manners. Very hard to find these days.

I woke up and couldn't hear out of my left ear. With in 5 minutes of being with the doctor the wax was out and I almost cried. Thanks Doc!

I haven’t been to see Dr Azer in two years because of Covid and finally got to go back to him. I was nervous because I needed my ears cleaned out and I had to be scoped through my nose. He was so gentle and assuring while he did both procedures and kept me calm the whole time. He also answered all my questions I had regarding acid reflux. I definitely will be back to him in the future.
