The Olathe Unified School District is located in Olathe, Kan. The school district provides academic programs to students in kindergarten through grade 12. It operates more than 30 elementary, nearly 10 junior high and approximately five senior high schools. It also operates other educational centers, including Claire Alternative Education Center, Heartland Early Childhood Center and Prairie Learning Center. The school s students are offered the opportunity of participating in a variety of sports programs, such as football, golf, gymnastics, soccer, tennis and volleyball. Each school of the district has a library that stocks a range of books, encyclopedias, magazines and Web site resources that provides additional information to students.
