Welcome to the office of Fales Pediatric Dentistry, a leading pediatric dental practice in the Greater Kansas City area. Superior oral health is vital for a child's development, and we're here to help every step of the way. Our practice strives to make this new journey for your child a fun and rewarding experience. There is no doubt... your child's path to optimum dental health starts here at Fales Pediatric Dentistry! A Child’s First Dental Visit A child’s first dental visit should be scheduled around his/her first birthday. The most important part of the visit is getting to know and becoming comfortable with a doctor and his staff. A pleasant, comfortable first visit builds trust and helps put the child at ease during future dental visits. If possible, allow the child to sit in a parent’s lap in the exam room. Children should be encouraged to discuss any fears or anxiety they feel. Accreditation- Dr. Fales earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Cellular Biology from the University of Kansas in 1978. He then attended the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry and obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1982. He completed a residency in pediatric dentistry in 1991 at the Children’s Mercy Hospital and the UMKC School of Dentistry in Kansas City, Missouri. Also in 1991, DHe gives back to the community by volunteering with the Donated Dental Services, Johnson County Health Partnership, UMKC/Olathe Schools Miles of Smiles, Olathe Schools Community Care Program, Project Ready Smile, Pet Partners/Delta Society, Kiwanis International, Boy Scouts of America and the Kansas Dental Charitable Foundation. r. Fales earned a Master of Science in Oral Biology from UMKC School of Dentistry.

Waterlase Dentistry is extremely safe and allows removal of decay and gum tissue precisely while leaving surrounding areas unaffected. Tooth and gum procedures have never been easier! * Obturators - Congratulations on your new baby! We are proud to be a part of your reconstructive surgery team! We work very closely with Dr. Virender Singhal to provide your baby with this recommended appliance, and we will be happy to answer any questions you might have regarding its use and care.

His professional affiliations include the American Dental Association, the Kansas Dental Association, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Southwest Society of Pediatric Dentistry, Fifth District Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society, Kansas Association of Pediatric Dentistry, and the Kansas City Association of Pediatric Dentists. He is a past-president of the Fifth District Dental Society of Kansas and was named Dentist of the Year for 2006-2007. Dr. Fales is currently the President of the Kansas Association of Pediatric Dentists and serves as Secretary of the Kansas Dental Association. He is a member of the Advocacy Team for the American Academy of Pediataric Dentistry and is on the Boards of Directors for Oral Health Kansas and America's Dentists Care Foundation.. He was the recipient of the Susan Brockman Bell Humanitarian Award in 2009. Dr. Fales serves on the Oral Health Kansas Advisory Committee and the Oral Health Kansas Dental Champions Advisory Board and is a graduate of the Oral Health Kansas Dental Champions Class of 2010. and In the fall of 2011, Dr. Fales was honored as the Kansas Dentist Clinician of the year by Oral Health Kansas.
