Founded in 1991, Sooner Elementary School offers a variety of educational and enrichment programs for students in grades kindergarten through six. It teaches various subjects, including English, math, science, social studies, health education, language arts, computer science, music, arts and crafts and physical education. The school s library has a large collection of books on various topics and other audiovisual reference materials. Its parent-teacher association caters to the needs of students and organizes and participates in various school events. The school also offers other services, such as transportation and daily meals. Located in Oklahoma City, Sooner Elementary School operates under the guidelines set by the Moore Public Schools, and enrolls more than 550 students.
