I have been a big fan of Shogun's ever for over 20 years. However, my most recent visit on 8/9/14 will be my last. A small reason for this is that Shogun's has gone up in price lately and for the past few years, the "Sho" in "Shogun's" pretty much does not exist any more. However, the main reason that I will never return back to this restaurant is due to a disgusting incident that happened Saturday night. One of the people at my table had ordered a bottle of Sake and as he was pouring some of it out from the bottle into the small Sake cup, outpoors a dead Roach! DISGUSTING. Clearly, he was shocked, as was everyone else at the table. A manager came over, looked at the roach and his reply was "Oh my God, this never happens Sir" and within a few minutes he replaced the bottle of Sake. He never actually apologized for the situation, though, and worst yet, did not comp the customer's meal. I can assure you, had this happened to me, I would not have paid for my meal. Period. It really shocks me that in today's society that is so Social Media conscious that a restaurant wouldn't do everything possible to make a customer happy. One bad tweet or one bad Facebook post could potentially shut down a restaurant. By no means does my review have that intention, but I feel it's best for everyone to know what happened that night and how management handled it.

WORST DINING EXPERIENCE EVER!

I have eaten at Shogun many, many times. My experience has proven to me that this restaurant has really gone down hill. Half of my food ended up on the floor and the table. The chef- if you can actually call him that did not know what he was doing and certainly did not put on the show you should receive with your dinner. Our waitress was awful as well I had to go to the bar three times to get my soda and water refilled. The fried rice was crunchy, and the chef only put one egg in there for a table of 9 people. When I visited with the manager on duty, Bob, he seemed to not really care. If anyone would like to see the pictures I took with my phone of my dinner that I paid full price for all over the table and the floor behind the chef drop me a note. I will not be returning to this restaurant to say the least.
