Established in 1995, Tengasco has grown to become one of the largest independent oil and gas companies in Tennessee. An independent energy company, Tengasco is active in the leasing, exploration, drilling, development and transportation of hydrocarbons, which consists of oil and gas. The company is headquartered in Knoxville, Tenn. Tengasco also produces oil from approximately 30,000 acres near Hays, Kan.
