I had to make a hard decision to use euthanasia services from Happy Tails/Dr. Acton.
She is compassionate and professional. She always makes me feel at ease and explains everything that will happen. I get to stay with my dog and comfort them while Dr. Acton gives medication to relax my pet. She is never hurried and always comforting to both me and my dog. I am so glad Dr. Acton provides veterinary medicine that comes to me at my home. We are always not prepared to lose a loved one, so being in a familiar place without a lot of other people and animals is a comfort in itself. I will always use her and highly recommend her services.
Terrible Vet!!! Unprofessional and unreliable. She never showed for an appointment, and when I called, her message said she went on vacation for two weeks.
I wanted to order my two dogs heart-worm medicine through 1-800petmeds. Dr. Acton refused to do a phone authorization, mail, or fax the prescription. She required me to go to her house to pick it up and mail it in myself. She stated that she didn't have time to get involved with third party prescribers. I stated that I believed that to be unreasonable, but go ahead and write the prescriptions and would would find another vet in the future. She said "Fine, do it now!". Then hung up. Need I say more?

Dr Acton visited my home to euthanize my sweet dog. She was very kind and compassionate to both my dog and me. I certainly recommend her services.
