Went there for the first time today. Yes, the place is cluttered, but not in a dirty sort of way, It's actually in a "let's see what cool thing we find next!" sort of way. The owners were super, super nice and very helpful. They had the rock tumbling media I wanted, and gave me a good discount on a book I wanted because it was slightly damaged. Two caveats--the shop is located in a not-so-great area of town, and they have a "no firearms" sign on the door. If you can deal with those two drawbacks, this is a great place to get rockhounding, lapidary, and jewelry making supplies. I will be back. (Ordinarily I have a policy of not patronizing businesses that don't allow legally carried and concealed firearms, but these guys were so nice...) I will write them an email though, explaining why that bothers me. :)

I been a customer for many years and thought the previous owner to be a little hard to deal with, I am impressed by the new owners and the way they have cleaned up the old shop. It is a pleasure to deal with theese foks and I hope everyone gives them a chance to show off their newly cleaned up shop. They are willing to help, knolageable and profesonal to deal with.
Kathy and Mario are a young married couple who have taken over from "the old man" referred to in the negative review. C'mon, he was old and sick. If he had been the total ogre described several years ago, he couldn't have remained in business all that time. This young couple need a break and your business. They are attractive, Christian and willing to go the extra mile. Mario helped me, a complete beginner, get set up in rock jewelry making without trying to sell me the whole store. Give them a try, you won't be sorry.--Fred Causley Sr., Stillwater
I have never been treated badly when I go here. He has alot of hard to find items and this place has been a fav of mine for years. While it may look run down, its not about glitz its about what he has in stock. Support local Business.
The place of business looks old and run down. Inside the establishment looks cluttered, messy and unorganized. Thats not the problem. The old man in charge treats his customers rudely and with a great deal of disrespect. He said it would be done within a week and it has been 3 weeks now. Don't ever come in to the shop to check on progress when he says it would be done. He will act as though you are the lowest form of life and tell you he will get it done, when he gets it done. No appology for being late or anything. I consider my business with this rock cutting shop a joke and wouldn't recommend this shop to my worst enemy!
