The Hewitt Power and Communications Division is an entity of the Hewitt Contracting Company. Hewitt Contracting Company builds large-scale projects, such as highway overpasses and four-leaf clover highway interchanges. The Hewitt Power and Communications Division works primarily for municipal government bodies. It installs underground power and telecommunications conduits and conductors. The Hewitt Power and Communications Division has directional boring capability as well as direct bury. Division customers include Sumter Electric Cooperative, The Villages of Spanish Springs, Comcast, Sprint Communications and the city of Leesburg, Fla.
