General Info

I have been a consultant and health care provider for 38 years and know my way around the hospital as well as outpatient arenas. I have had the privilege over the course of my practice lifetime to experience a braid scope of care from in the very sickest of patients in intensive care to those requiring emotional support in the office. As far as I am concerned, when a patient comes to see me, they get my utmost attention and I want to hear their story. I have learned that listening, seeing and asking the right questions are far more important that most everything else. As for credentials, I am board certified in internal medicine, a fellow of the American College of Medicine (known as FACP), and was Who's Who Internist of the Year, nationally in 2015. I have been Chief of Staff of the local hospital and have held chair positions in almost all the medical staff committees. Over my practice career, my emphasis has changed, from being a firm believer in the medical industrial complex, to helping my patients avoid it unless they really need it. I emphasize lifestyle choices and how to implement them as being the real medicines for wellness. In my three recently published books, I lay out the chronic inflammatory framework of how we get sick and then how to reverse this progression before it becomes a disease venue. This forms the basis for how I treat patients and I personally practice what I preach. I would encourage all of you to come visit me to talk about your health situation.
