Upon completion of his undergraduate work, he went on to Dartmouth Medical School where he graduated with Honors. He recently completed his Dermatology residency at Loma Linda University Medical Center and an ACGME Procedural Dermatology Fellowship in Mohs and laser surgery at Scripps in San Diego. With the Mohs technique, Dr. Tingey is able to see beyond the visible disease to accurately remove the cancer, layer by layer, and leave the surrounding healthy tissue unharmed. As the most exact and precise method of skin cancer removal, Mohs surgery minimizes the chance of re-growth and lessens the potential for scarring or disfigurement.
