A visit to Howard's Pub is a must if you're on the island of Ocracoke! The seafood is well prepared, the hush puppies are out of this world, and the selection of microbrew beers is phenomonal! Our favorites are the grilled teriyaki tuna sandwich, and the Carolina Burger - a 1/2 lb burger topped with chili, cheese, Howard's coleslaw, lettuce, tomatoes, etc. AWESOME!!! The best deal - be off the beach by 4:00 to be at Howard's before the rush. Then catch the sunset ferry back to Hatteras! I wanna go back!!!
