I lived in Canarsie Brooklyn in the early 80's and there was only A&J and they never had prices on thie items and were rude when you asked. I had to use them in Oceanside when I moved to Long Island and they were just as bad. When I went into Seven Brothers I was greeted with respect and kindness from the owners and other family members in the deli. I am elderly and they helped my wife and I out to the car and neatly put all the stuff in the trunk. I could not believe how nice they were since the store was very busy. I go there every saturday with my wife and I stopped going to A & J a long time ago. When I spend money I like good service and kind people talking to me and not yellling at me because I can no longer hear that well and I am a little slow. I must say that we love the service at Seven Brothers Gourmet Deli in Oceanside and it brings me back to my days with the wife and kids in Brooklyn, NY but at least now that I am in Oceanside I have a good Italian Deli to go to.
