The Oceanside Union Free School District governs elementary, middle and high schools, as well as a pre-kindergarten and kindergarten center. It serves students in pre-kindergarten through grade 12. The school district offers classes in a variety of subjects, such as math, family & consumer science, language arts, social studies, and technology and computers education. The Oceanside Union Free School District administers art, music, foreign language, and health and physical education programs. Its students participate in a range of sports activities, including cheerleading, cross-country, football, golf, soccer, tennis, volleyball, wrestling, swimming, badminton, basketball, bowling, and track and field. The school district also administers the English as a Second Language (ESL) program. Additionally, each of its campuses operates a library that houses a collection of books and reference materials.
