Oceanside Library maintains a collection of books, magazines, newspapers, databases and periodicals. The library offers fiction and nonfiction books on a variety of topics, such as art, literature, history and science. It houses a range of videotapes, cassettes, CDs and DVDs for children and adults. It operates various clubs and organizations that conduct special programs. The library organizes a variety of programs, such as concerts, lectures, workshops and book discussions. Oceanside Library also offers educational programs and courses in defensive driving. In addition, it organizes film festivals and art exhibitions. The library provides various types of services that include career counseling, tax assistance, computer access, printing and photocopying. Located in Oceanside, N.Y., Oceanside Library is governed by Oceanside Library Association.
