I thoroughly enjoyed my experience with Bikram yoga. It was far more difficult than I could have imagined the first time walking into the heated studio and I did not know if I would be back. Upon completion of my first session I knew I wanted more. The physical and mental exertion experienced in performing Bikram yoga is unparalleled. Initially my body was shocked and weight loss and exhilaration from completing such a workout are only two of the positive results from practicing yoga in such a sweltering and calming environment. My friends and family have expressed desire to try out Bikram yoga but I believe the fear is they will not complete the 90minute session or the heat will simply prove unbearable. I do have a dear friend who calls Bikram yoga her escape from the chaos. On this, we both agree, there is just nothing quite like heated yoga and the empowerment and wellness one feels after a session.

Bigram's yoga is the kind of thing you love to hate. After one class you know this is what your body needs. Like it or not. If you have a retirement plan, this is a bit like an insurance policy, so you might get to enjoy your retirement in the way you have always dreamed about.
