General Info
We take students from six wks to 6th grade. Our prices are competitive with the area. Our program balances both play and academics. We focus on exposing students to science, math, art, reading, and technology on a daily basis. We are currently working on building a playground made of natural elements so the children can explore and learn about their environment. Our 24,000 square foot building is equipped with a kitchen, activity center, 6 classrooms, an indoor playground, game room, homework room, and a bounce house room. We also offer before and after school care and pickup/delivery, as well as birthday packages. We pick up from Taconi Headstart, Oak Park, Upper Elementary, Pecan Park, and Magnolia Park.

What a great place. SMART Beginnings is the best nursery school, preschool and after school program in Ocean Springs.
This place is dirty. The owner is not friendly at all, she only talks to parents when she wants to be paid. None of the staff looks happy there. They change teachers weekly, sometimes multiple times a day. It doesn't seem like they are on the same page. The kids that come there for the after school program run all over with absolutely no supervision. The kids come home very hungry everyday. If you mention something to the owner she makes excuses and nothing is fixed. Save your money and take them to a center that has it together and isn't so dirty!
I may be partial because I own this place, but I have some of the best staff available. They truly care for their student's well being. They're eager to learn new things and love sharing that knowledge with their students.
