0My husband and I found this wonderful home away from home in October 2015. We attended the Zombie Walk in Asbury Park, but we love Ocean Grove and had stayed there before at a different place. We originally went to the Melrose because it was the only place we could find a room!
Upon meeting the host, Randy, we immediately felt at home and felt this was the place for us. Randy is very warm and funny, and really made sure we were comfortable. When we returned from the Walk at night, we were greeted with fresh cookies outside our door! Breakfast is served in the morning, and one can eat inside or outside. They are pet friendly, too! And very laid back. Once I was there, I never wanted to leave!
We have been there in October, May, and July and will never consider staying anywhere else at the shore. Free beach passes, too! Go there�������������������� ����
Oh, they are completely in walking distance to Asbury Park, so if you want a few cocktails, no worries about driving!
