We looked up a movie we wanted to see on this website. It listed a matinee time starting at 1:20. That was the only time that day when my friends and I could go, so we drove the 28 miles to the theatre. When we got to the window, a very indifferent cashier told us that that showing was cancelled. No explanation or anything. She didn't know anything about whether it was showing at any other theatre, no effort was made to be helpful in any way.I really don't like this theatre because of these kinds attitudes. It is the best, most modern theatre with the most movie choices in town. I've noticed that the proprietors seem satisfied that they are making money. Courtesy or helpfulness to customers, including giving them proper information, just doesn't matter.If the same movies I wanted to see ran at other theatres in town, I would go to them every time.

On 10/16/06 my husband and I went to see The Guardian at Regal Cinemas Hollywood 16. We found out that the first show was closed caption from the cashier. I told her it didn't state that on Hollywood.com. She said to go to RegalTheater.com. I did that and the first show for The Guardian didn't state the first show was closed caption. If Regal continues to use closed caption for the first shows they will find that people won't go to the movies. Most people like to see the matinee because they can save some money, but they won't go if it's closed caption.
