A two-minute walk from Lake Apopka, the laid-back Oakland Manor House, is just three miles from Winter Garden and a mile from Florida's Turnpike. The West Orange Trail, part of a coast-to-coast trail system, runs through the neighborhood and it's just a short walk along the Trail to the Oakland Nature Preserve. The five warm, artfully decorated rooms, each have a different theme which showcases an aspect of Central Florida's history. The suites have sitting areas and, Grace's Luxury Suite, has two bedrooms and a large soaking tub for two. Three rooms feature lake views through towering Live Oak trees . The upstairs coffee lounge has views of Lake Apopka. All of the rooms at the Oakland Manor House have private baths. In addition to an organic breakfast, there's a cozy lounge on the main floor with a fireplace for the guests to enjoy.
