Free Oakland UP is a multi-purpose art space offering a FREE Thrift/Gift Shop where everyone is welcome to choose one item for free; a FREE community drop-in Maker/Studio Space filled with alternative art supplies; and Art Gallery offering monthly solo and group exhibitions featuring experimental, interactive projects focused on alternative economies, cultivating socially activated art, sustainability and building community through art and active participation.
