We are a full service painting company, performing the full range of residential and painting services. Fully licensed, bonded and insured, and EPA lead-safe certified. We focus on providing a level of customer service that is not commonly found in the painting trade. We communicate clearly throughout the project. We deliver what we promise.       Business History
      I started CertaPro Painters of Berkeley in 2004. It took me close to a year to create a business plan, and understand the complexities of running a business. To keep overhead low, I started out of my Mother's garage. This worked out for a little under a year, until she was through with having crews show up at 7am every day. We opened an office in 2005. After graduating from UC Davis in 2000, I spent countless hours in the field, learning the business and just what it takes to run a successful painting company. Also to learn what motivates employees. This is an interesting business, it seems very simple from the outside, but has many complications. It all comes down to effective employee management. My goal is to provide an exemplary workplace for my employees, so they can provide impeccable customer service and quality workmanship in turn.
