Iulia Dorneanu, DO, is a neurologist at Rush. She earned her medical degree at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, Midwestern University. She completed her residency in neurology at the University of Illinois Medical Center, Chicago and completed her fellowship in clinical neurophysiology at Rush University Medical Center. Dorneanu specializes in general neurology. She provides care for adults with a variety of neurological issues, including headaches, dementia, neck pain, spinal problems, neuropathy and strokes. She treats patients at Rush Oak Park Hospital and encourages many patients to seek continuity of care with her in the Multispecialty Clinic as needed. She also performs electromyography (EMG)and electroencephalograms (EEG). Dorneanu believes in providing empathetic care that exceeds her patients’ expectations. Her experience allows her to complete thorough workups for patients, help them navigate their conditions and provide relief from their symptoms. In her free time, Dorneanu enjoys gardening and biking.
