We are extremely unset with Midwest Dental Sleep Center. Before we agreed to have the procedure we were informed they checked with our insurance carrier and it would be covered. Upon submitting the bill to Blue Cross Blue Shield the claim was denied and we were told we had to pay the $2600.00. Midwest Dental sent the claim of $1200.00 to a collection agency and we agreed to pay the amount owed but not the collection fees. Blue Cross has agreed to pay us back but Midwest Dental is keeping over $455 for collections. We would never have had the procedure done if it was not covered.
