- On the National Register of Historic Places, Mayslake Hall stands as a rare surviving example of the magnificent country houses that were built in DuPage County during the Gilded Age. It now serves the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County as a cultural education center, home to concerts, theatre, art exhibits and art and photo classes.
