The O Fallon Parks and Recreation Department provides recreational opportunities for people of all ages, as well as maintains various park facilities and cemeteries within the city of O'Fallon, Ill. It parks include the O'Fallon Community, Hesse, Rock Springs, Thoman, St. Ellen Mine and Family Sports. Its 22-acre Hesse Park includes several facilities, such as an in-line skating rink, ball diamonds, soccer fields, basketball courts, picnic shelters, playgrounds and restrooms. Additionally, the O Fallon Parks and Recreation Department offers a variety of educational and physical activities for people of all ages. Its activities include swimming, basketball, basketball, softball, baseball, soccer, lacrosse, and art and crafty making. The department also operates the Katy Cavins Community Center, which hosts several educational and recreational programs.
