North Bay Corporation Center for the Environment North Bay Corporation is in the design for construction of the North Bay Corporation Center for the Environment. This state-of-the-art materials recovery facility is designed for sustainability and will expand the management of Sonoma County's waste disposal far beyond California's current recycling mandates. What is a Mateiral Recovery Facility? A Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) is a state-of-the-art plant design specifically to recover recyclable materials from our waste stream. Through a series of manual and automated sort processes recyclables transported to a re-manufacturing facility where they can be further processed and made into new marketable materials.
