Novato Charter School, also known as NCS, provides educational and extracurricular programs for students in kindergarten through grade eight. Established in 1996, its academic curriculum includes classes in a variety of subjects, such as math, literature, language arts, grammar, science, history, social studies, geography, and technology education, as well as Spanish. Novato Charter School also administers a range of programs in art, music, dance, physiology, astronomy, mineralogy and gardening. In addition, the school offers the English Language Learner (ELL) program. It is governed by the Novato Unified School District, which maintains several schools. Novato Charter School is located in Novato, Calif.
