Provided by YP.comOur family takes lessons at both locations (Norwood and Dedham) and I can not say enough good things about this music school. This program is unlike any other out there! The owner, Nick, cares so much that each student is doing well and placed with the right teacher for that student. His dedication and caring always shows in his effort to make this program the best. He is also an amazing instructor!
My 2 pre teen boys started taking individual lessons here a few years back and then got involved in the ensemble program. The ensemble program is amazing! They put my son who plays the drums and my other son who plays the guitar in a group band with other kids and a highly skilled and fun teacher. They get together every week and work on songs together for an hour or an hour and a half. The program is about 4 months long and then at the end they put on a big concert at a real performance rock venue around the area. The ability to play music they are interested in and then perform it in a rock star way has increased the boys interest, practicing and confidence so much!
My husband and I started lessons over a year ago, then formed a band with our kids. Our "family band" meets every week with our instructor Pat (who is amazing) and we learn to play as a group songs we are all interested in. Pat always throws in some music history and stories to keep us interested and entertained so it is so much fun. We feel like it has been something our kids enjoy doing with us as they get older and keeps our family close to have music in common.
I would highly recommend this program if you are looking for a program where you or your kids will WANT to learn to play and instrument and keep at it consistently. That is really the key, learning to love to play music. It can be a life long craft and you are never too old to start!
