For divorce consultations, and other matters billed hourly, there is no charge for the initial consultation, which includes up to 45 minutes of the attorney's time. There is no consultation fee for cases which would be taken on a contingency fee. At the time of the initial consultation, the attorney will provide the client with detailed information concerning hourly rates, an estimated fee range, and billing procedures.

Attorney Cartier has been practicing law since 1985. He is a member of the New Hampshire, Connecticut State and Federal bars as well as the bars of the Mohegan Tribal and Gaming Disputes Court and Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Court. He is experienced in the areas of family and marital law, personal injury law, Indian Law, employment discrimination, criminal law, military law and real estate. He graduated in 1985 from the Franklin Pierce Law Center and in 1982 with honors from Saint Anselm College. He has served as business law instructor at Three Rivers Community College from 1991 through 1996 and as an instructor for the Paralegal Studies program with the University of Connecticut from 1994 to the present. He is a Commander with the U.S. Navy, Judge Advocate General's Corps.
