The worse day care in town.......

The worse day care in town.... Please read below. So scary

NORWALK -- A former day care worker has been charged with molesting two young children while he was employed with a Norwalk nursery school.

Harold Meyers, 44, of 104 Waldorf Ave., Bridgeport, appeared for arraignment Monday at state Superior Court in Norwalk. He faces two counts each of third-degree sexual assault and risk of injury to a minor.

Superior Court Judge Bruce Hudock held Meyers' bond at $150,000 and transferred the case to the Part A docket in Stamford, where more serious matters are tried. He is due back in court May 7.

A married father of four, Meyers is accused of sexually abusing two young girls at Tumble Bugs day care center, 11 Allen Road, where he worked as a preschool teacher from 2008 to 2009.

According to court documents, police were alerted to the alleged abuse in August 2011 when a 7-year-old girl told her mother that she had been sexually abused by a male teacher when she was four or five years old.

The victim revealed the abuse to her mother after her grandmother questioned her about some recent odd behavior. Meyers' six-page arrest affidavit states that the victim's grandmother noticed that the girl had begun touching herself, and became concerned when she spotted the child shove a blanket between her legs while lying in bed.

Detectives with the Norwalk Police Department's Youth Division interviewed the girl at Children's Connection, where she disclosed the abuse to police.
