The Norwalk Metropolitan Youth Ballet was created in 2014 by brothers Christopher and Adam Holms. The Holms brothers share a common belief that participation in the arts not only changes lives, but also holds powerful and creative potential to reshape the future of our communities. The Norwalk Metropolitan Youth Ballet is proud to herald in a new era of creativity and mentorship. NMYB has designed a curriculum which respects the traditions and canons of classical dance. Our goal is to provide a technically comprehensive and artistically meaningful education. We are prepared to meet the needs of both recreational dancers as well as individuals who hope to pursue a career in the arts. We look forward to serving the community with integrity and compassion by providing enrichment services to under-served populations. This is a fertile time of rapid growth and creation at NMYB with an aim toward becoming leaders in the community and advocates for dance education in the greater Norwalk area. Please take a moment to review the summer workshops, the class offerings, Ensemble toile, as well as our En Pointe residency program. We look forward to creating a lasting and meaningful partnership with the families and patrons of the arts in Southern Connecticut.
