I recently transferred all my loans from another pawn shop over to Gold N Pawn. From the minute I walked in they made feel comfortable by explaining everything about the pawn procedures and fees before any paperwork was done. They treated me with courtesy and humor, which at the time I really needed. I left with the feeling that they really cared to help other than just make a business transaction.

DISHONEST! Today I took my 14K jewelry to see how much they would give me for a loan. They told me it was all 10K. I told them several of the items had previously been tested by another pawn shop in Norwalk and were 14K. They insisted that everything was 10K, even though most items were stamped 14K. They offered to loan me $195 for the lot. I told them I would think about it. I was on my way home and stopped at another pawn shop on Pioneer Blvd. in Norwalk. They tested everything and said it was all 14K. They loaned me $390 for the lot, although that included $15 extra because I decided to sell a bracelet.
