Norton Elementary School, established in 1973 and located in Norton, Va., provides academic and extracurricular programs to students from kindergarten through grade seven. It is governed by the Norton City Public Schools and enrolls more than 500 students. Norton Elementary School comprises two schools, and both the schools are accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. Norton Elementary School provides a wide variety of academic programs, such as computer technology, physical and health education, music and art, science, mathematics, special education, and English and social studies. It offers various programs and activities, including lunch and transportation, after school program, trips, and outdoor and athletic activities. Norton Elementary School has science and computer labs, gym, cafeteria, media center, library, and playgrounds.
