      General Info
      High Plains offers a wide range of mental health and social support services and is located in Hays, Kan. It offers outpatient diagnostic and treatment services, rehabilitation services, and consultation services to schools, courts, health and welfare agencies. It provides in-service training for students in professional educational programs relating to mental health, public educational programs, information and research. It also offers psychiatric assessment, medication reviews, psychotherapy, community psychiatric supportive treatment and targeted case management. The center is funded by federal, state, local, self-pay and insurance sources. It also provides subsidized rental housing services. It has five full-time branch offices located in Colby, Goodland, Norton, Osborne and Phillipsburg, Kan. High Plains is licensed by the Kansas Department of Social and Rehabilitation Services.
