Located in Northwood, Ohio, Olney Elementary School is a part of Northwood Local Schools, which governs elementary, middle and high schools. Olney Elementary School offers various educational and extracurricural programs to serve the academic, social and emotional needs of children in the Northwood community. Founded in 1955, the school offers classes to students in kindergarten through grade four. It has an elementary parent -teacher organization that promotes the welfare of children in school and plans projects to benefit elementary school children. The school also offers classes in art, physical education, and vocal and instrumental music. Additionally, Olney Elementary School operates a student council, homework club and special education division, as well as organizes field trips and Halloween and Christmas parties.
