      The Mayor s Office supervises the administration of the city of Northwood, as well as exercises control over various divisions of the city. The office works for the maintenance of laws in the city. It maintains a staff of police officers, and street, building and firefighter personnel. It also controls the working of city courts and police, fire, finance and tax departments. The office maintains and improves roads, traffic signs, storm sewers and hydrants through the department of streets. Additionally, it controls the working of zoning department that issues permits and inspects and reviews residential, commercial and industrial properties. The Mayor s Office is located in Northwood, Ohio.
