A shocking and pleasant eyeopener! We went there for my wife's birthday on Tuesday night. Tue - Thur. dinner special menus were $23! Other days $27. Are you kidding me? $23 for a full dinner menu in a decent restaurant? And what was in the menu?.. An appetizer that alone filled us; my wife had a crab cake plate (3 best tender crab-cake balls apx. 3 inches in diameter each); my daughter had a dumpling platter (1/2 Russian dumplings - pelmeni + 1/2 pierogis). We were almost full after that, and then they brought main dishes: I got a strip steak, tender and awesome; my wife had a trout, and my daughter - seafood linguine. Coffee or tea (that other restaurants offer for $2-3) was on the house, and then an unbelievable desert. And that all for $23!!! And a waitress, Nancy, was just too good to be true - genuinely friendly like family. I knew that gratuity was included in the bill but wanted to add some more, but she said, "Don't worry, it's included." Refuse a tip? Are you kidding me? W
