The Park District holds title to 21 parks and manages approximately 505 acres, including open prairie, woodlands and a restored wetland. Recreational choices include: -Three golf courses, -A practice range, -Miniature golf, -Two aquatic centers, -Indoor and outdoor ice rinks, -Lighted baseball and soccer fields, -Tennis and basketball courts, -Two fishing lakes, -Batting cages, -A Teams Challenge Course, -Climbing Tower, -Skate park, -Two sled hills and the award-winning Trail Through Time, -An educational natural history walk The District also offers preschool, summer camps, visual and performing arts, live theatre, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, fitness programs and a Senior Center.
