Karuna has WON the best of Northampton award for the last 4 years in a ROW. We offer daily vibrant yoga classes. 200 hour and 500 hour yoga teacher trainings. And 500-HR 5-ELEMENT shiatsu certification. The mission of karuna center for yoga & healing arts is to create community and promote healing through yoga and the healing arts. We are available to people of ALL ages. Abilities. Ethnicity. And GENDERS. MANY people have commented on the special quality of OUR studio space, a 1900 square foot room with maple floors and a 30-FOOT domed ceiling. It was originally designed by the freemasons employing sacred geometry. The atmosphere of the room has been enhanced by its many years of USE AS a space for yoga. Healing and meditation. The nature of OUR space supports the work we DO. KARUNA center for yoga and healing arts is licensed by the commonwealth of massachusetts. Department of elementary and secondary education. OUR teacher training program is in compliance with the standards of the nationally recognized yoga alliance and approved by the massachusetts department of elementary and secondary education. OUR 5 element shiatsu program is an AOBTA (american organization for bodywork therapies of asia) and department of education approved program.
