I called the Orchard Park location to see if they had an aluminum brake for sale. The sales guy said that they had 4 in stock. I said great, I'm driving 40 miles to come get it so make sure you
have one for me when I get there. No problem, he said. It took an hour to get there and it's 330 pm and they close at 4. After waiting 20 minutes for 10 other guys to get taken care of I finally get the guy to write me up for the $1600.00 machine. Now it's after 4 and now the sales guy says he made a mistake and they don't have the machine. He calls the N. Tonawanda store and they say that they can have one for me in the morning. I now have to drive another 40 miles out of the way but I ended up finally getting the machine but I was pretty hot about the whole ordeal.
After getting the machine loaded into my trailer I decided to go to the manager and complain about their lousy service. I talked to George and he listened to my whole story. Bottom line, George stepped up and took care of me by making an adjustment on the bill.
I was shocked but very happy.
What I thought would be a bad experience turned out to be a great one thanks to George.
Buyer Beware! When we went into Miris the first time we were the only ones in the store but it was obvious the employee didn't want to talk to us, despite our asking questions. When we went back and ordered the windows, we specified a stock size. They changed the size on us, which made it a "special order". We were never told it was a "special order". When we asked for an exchange, the owner was rude and disrespectful. Apparently, "special orders" are final. We either have to try to resell these windows or take the company to small claims court. We will never do business with them again.
