So I thought I had found a company to rely on for my current needs despite the enormous amounts they charge, BUT time always tells. They have coupons to try and offset their dispatch charge and other possible charges but they have a diagnostic charge and then there's the charge for whatever it is that needs to be done once they figure it out. I think the diagnostic charge is waived if you decide to do the work with them but guess how much that cost?!? An arm, a leg, and possibly a heart attack! They seemed reliable and dependable from the 1st few meetings, that's right they had to come out numerous times to rectify an issue. Some of the houses in Buffalo are so old you can expect work that needs to be done, unfortunately, mine being one of them. I've never had any issues with the electric in my place besides the microwave tripping the breaker when there were too many things going at one time and a upgraded panel that was done years back. But last year I had a friend watch over the place for me for a few months while I was gone and on my return nothing was ever the same. I got nothing against Matt, he did the best he could, even enlisting the help of a coworker on that 1st visit to solve the issue I was having. He left me with a series of quotes for work that he recommended because of the microwave issue and even waived the 3rd dispatch charge, being that I had called the electric company for that same instance and they were able to make it out the same day since I had no electricity in the entire house. I thought it was a power outtage but nope. They fixed whatever it was that happened, still don't know what it was. Jameson wouldn't be able to arrive until a few days later and when they did, I was just about to cancel the dispatch. Mind you, this is December now and that's when the issues begin to show themselves. The original work that Jameson provided in July left me with some issues that I wouldn't realize until November. The power was cutting out in the middle of the night in my apartment and I'd wake up with no electricity and colder in the morning to find out that the breakers had tripped. No biggie I thought, I'll just flip them on, BUT it kept happening almost every night until one morning when I tried to flip them and got NOTHING, that's the day I called National Grid. It's December in Buffalo, you add that up. Mind you, I live in a 2 family apartment style home and the downstairs apartment is currently vacant. A few weeks pass and its getting colder so I decide to turn the heat on in the vacant apartment. I flip the breaker BUT THIS TIME A FUSE SEEMED TO BLOW! BIG SPARK! HOLY FCK. NO ELECTRICITY NOW IN THE DOWNSTAIRS APT. I call these Jameson Guys ASAP. Mind you, again I'll state this I've never had any issues with the electric in the house for the 6 plus years there was people living downstairs besides the microwave issue in my apartment that never affected them. They had only moved out the year prior, if that. We scheduled another time to meet but they let me know up front there would be another dispatch charge and diagnostic charge! This is gonna be the 4th TIME YOU GUYS ARE COMING OUT, WHY?!?!? I hesitantly agreed because its the fckn dead of winter in Buffalo and I don't want the pipes to freeze in the lower apartment. But poor me, I had an unexpected issue come up and wasn't able to make it during the day we scheduled, so I call again only to find out that I was put on a Do not Service list because I supposedly had a prior balance from the 3rd visit Matt came out for, WHICH HE WAIVED FOR ME because he was literally only there for about 10 MINUTES, if that! So now I'm explaining this to Jessica and she says she will call the owner and he should get in contact with me. Days pass and the owner is no where to hear from. I actually call on the 22ND of this week while at Home Depot looking for a heat gun & some other heating essentials BECAUSE GUESS

Called them and they and came out same day. Courteous, efficient, explained the problem, fixed it, and told me ways to prevent it from happening again. 90 day warranty. Liked everything about the service. Sent me an email ahead of time saying 2 hour window. Even had pictures of the service team. There right at the start of the time window. Not cheap but not expensive either. Probably about average for same day service. Nice people also. Would use them again.
Can't say enough positive things about Bob from Jameson Electric. We had a fall furnace inspection/cleaning and he was professional, courteous and informative. It was a wet miserable day when Bob came to the house.The covers he put over his boots before entering the house so as not to track in mud was a nice touch. I recommend Jammison highly for any electrical or HVAC needs.
Bob was courteous and finished the work on my furnace tune up quickly. I need a humidifier and he left me the information with no pushy sales pitch. I appreciated he explained the work and was very tidy. I would highly recommend Jameson Electric.
I originally had Jameson Electric come out to do a maintenance check on our generator. After he was finished with that Jessy noticed that my electrical cable was frayed and that it should be replace. I had three very nice men Jessy, Mark, and Steve come out and replaced and fixed all that needed to be done. They were so nice to my husband who is disabled and on oxygen, they made sure he had his TV and lift chair and oxygen hooked up to another electrical source before they started. What a Great crew. everything was done and cleaned up by the end of the day. I would highly recommend Jameson Electric to my family and friends. I definitely would not recommend this company. I had three light fixtures I wanted to update. They wouldn't give me a quote over the phone... No wonder! They wanted to charge me $750! The wiring was all in place, I just needed the new light put in. I sent them packing and called another electric company that charges by the hour. It cost me $123 to change out the three lights AND have a bathroom fan installed. I would never call Jameson Electric again. If they won't give you a rough estimate over the phone and charge you to come out and give you an estimate, keep looking. There are much better options out there.
WIth an Electrical issue on 10/24/14, I call Jameson and Jessy quickly diagnosed the problem and setup a d app for 8 30am and he was early and ready to go. Promised the work completed by 4pm. The work was completed by Jessy and his 2 partners by 2pm. Friendly service and Professional with NO HICCUPS. Power startup was dead on PERFECT. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND JAMESON.. FRAN BUSHARDT, SATISFIED CUSTOMER.

Jameson Electric is simply the best! They were on time, courteous, friendly, and above all professional. Today I started my winter prep. First up the furnace, well Jameson EH&A was the company that I chose. This company is so efficient, I received three calls 1 to let me know they are coming,2the time period to expect them, and 3 to let me know my serviceman will be arriving within the hour. Great. Bob was my serviceperson today. He was on time, greeted me with his name and the name of the company. He when right to work. Testing, checking evaluating and done. He explained everything to me. He just did a good job, not pushy, not distant just very easy to talk to. The kind of person I felt knows his job, good with people and represents the company very well. I will be using this company again. Thank you

Yesterday I had the pleasure having Bob B. clean, inspect and tune up my furnace unit. I was so impressed with how he spent his time and completely checked and cleaned it.
