Very bad business ethics! I ordered online, two plants, for calling hours on Friday evening at a Syracuse Funeral Home. The website never asked for the deceased name but instead the recipients name. I completed the info as asked and this florist did not put any effort into filling my order. She attempted to call me but did not leave a message so I was unaware of the problem until I arrived at the calling hours and did not see what i thought I had purchased the day before. The owner claimed that she researched the recipient's name, thinking that she was the deceased, which clearly was someone at a different Funeral service and different state. She wrote in an email (I found after the calling hours) that she had called and left me a message and that she could not complete my order due to the time of the service. When I replied to her email upset with the situation and that she didn't try to contact me or the funeral home, she gave excuses, blaming me for not including the deceased name on the order. I will not use this company in the future. I remember also having problems 5 years ago, at this same florist when I ordered for my own mother's funeral and calling hours. My mom passed away 4 days before Valentines day and the florist gave us a hard time stating that it would be difficult filling our order due to how close it was to Valentines day. I stated to her that we did not choose to have our mother pass at this time but that a family's loved one should be a priority to the florist making money for Valentines day. After that conversation, the flowers arrived in wilted condition and the extra violets we ordered were not what she had promised. I should have thought twice before giving her a second chance; just trying to support local business. Not again!

Ordered flowers for a funeral and was not sure what I wanted. The owner was so helpful and I absolutely loved the arrangement...would definitely order from her again!!

Highly recommend this shop....their work is absolutely unique and outstanding!!
