My preference is to work with a small company with integrity and this seemed like one until I there was an issue with one of his furnace techs. The owner, Paul, seemed like a stand up guy when he was delivering the oil. I've only bought oil from him (and only him) for the past three years. The first tech that cleaned my furnace (Kevin?) was pretty green but did OK. The next guy who came (Ken) did a crappy job. This guy left my house like a politician shaking my hand and slapping my back. A couple weeks later, the furnace is having a tough time starting again, like it needs a cleaning. So I called PHS. The woman who answered said that it would cost $130 to have someone come out and clean it again. Needing to get this issue fixed I called a guy that does furnace cleanings for another oil company. The found that the filter on the oil tank was clean but the strainer on the pump was filled with crud. Ken never cleaned the strainer. A month later I called PHS and after 3 calls Paul finally came to the phone. He was cowardly avoiding me even though I was going to offer a win/win solution to keep them as my oil company. He said I waited to long and I've been buying my oil from someone else because he hasn't been here in a while. (Since last March to be exact.) Oh, well. I've already arranged for another company to fill my tank and it's a less expensive. Perhaps a name change is in order. Unprofessional Heating Services perhaps?

This is an awesome company to buy home heating oil from; I highly recommended them
